How We Grow
Quality
Whether you are thinking indoor or outdoor plants, quality is our mission. We offer you quality plant material that we grow on-site by using sustainable & environmentally friendly practices; maintaining a clean environment; using additional products as a last resort; and by educating our staff. Approximately ninety-five percent of our plant material is either grown on-site or brought in from reputable, certified NC nurseries. NC grown means a better outcome for the consumer and supports North Carolina’s Green Industry, the largest agricultural industry in NC.
Size Matters
In the plant industry, plants are sold by container size. We grow annuals in container sizes & materials that have proven most effective over time. In addition, we grow & sell most shrubs & trees in three gallon containers, or larger, so they will be better established & consequently more successful in your gardens.
Education
Educating our consumers is a priority, so we teach you how to care for your plants once you leave our location. We sell accompanying garden tools & products that have proven most successful over time. We are happy to spend a few extra minutes explaining the benefits of our products & answering questions. Consider us a valuable resource when planting in your garden.
About Us
Paradise Garden Center is owned by Michael Harden, a local entrepreneur & volunteer. Michael’s vision was to purchase the garden center as a complementary partner for his landscaping business which he did in March of 2014. We are passionate about maintaining quality products; using sustainable practices; & educating our employees & customers. The majority of our plants are either grown on-site or selected from quality NC growers. We are known for quality; exceptionally beautiful annuals; creative planting services; and our gift-shop with garden treasures & work of local artisans.
